Rosenfeld by Maya Kessler (2022)

Noa Simon is an aspiring filmmaker who meets businessmen Richard Harrington and Teddy Rosenfeld, both in their 50s, at her friend’s wedding. They are impressed with her filmmaking skills and offer to recommend her for a job as the head of media at their company, Oceanna. There is clear sexual tension between Noa and Teddy from the beginning. The next morning, Noa becomes infatuated with Teddy and begins researching Oceanna. Teddy opens up about his past, including his two sons, Adrian and Milo, and the fact that he’s in the process of divorcing his second wife, Lara. He offers to double Noa’s salary if she joins Oceanna.

Noa starts working at Oceanna, but Teddy warns her that a romantic relationship between them would not work due to his commitment issues. Noa insists she’s okay with a casual relationship and they sleep together. Noa is given a project to create a film for investors visiting Oceanna. She works diligently and impresses Richard and Teddy at the meeting, but struggles with collaborating with other employees, leading to a disagreement with Teddy.

Their relationship is turbulent, combining physical and emotional aspects. Noa shares her estrangement from her mother, Nurit, and focuses on her work. Gradually, Teddy admits his feelings for Noa, and Noa falls in love with him. They continue to face challenges in their personal and professional lives.
